LONDON—Weber Shandwick’s Stockholm-based business intelligence unit, United Minds, will open in London. Headed up by Hélène Vinberg, associate at Prime—the Swedish firm acquired in 2014—and United Minds, the new operation is part of a push to expand the firm’s strategic planning offer. Other moves include the recent appointment of UK director of analytics Elizabeth Gladwin and the addition of an analytics practice in Germany.

LONDON—Teneo Holdings—founded in 2011  by former Financial Dynamics US chief executive Declan Kelly—has appointed Charles Watson as chairman of Teneo International. Watson was formerly group CEO of Financial Dynamics, where he led FD’s MBO in 2003 and subsequent sale to FTI Consulting in 2006. Watson’s role will include leading Teneo’s planned expansion outside the US, growing its existing businesses in key markets such as London, the Gulf and Greater China, and via acquisition.

GENEVA—MSC Cruises has named Luca Biondolillo as chief communications officer, reporting to CEO Gianni Onorato. Having served most recently as head of corporate communications and public affairs for Benetton Group, Biondolillo has 20 years of experience in a range of sectors including fashion, luxury, food, manufacturing, consumer goods, retail, transportation, automotive, and high-tech.

LONDON—Corporate law firm Addleshaw Goddard has added media lawyer Lucy Middleton to its reputation protection team. Middleton spent the first eight years of her career at defamation and privacy firm Carter-Ruck, and was then a senior associate at media law boutique Atkins Thomson. 

BAKU—Baku 2015 European Games has appointed Colin Gibson as deputy director of communications. Gibson recently left the England and Wales Cricket Board, where he was director of media and communications, and has also held roles as director of communications for the International Cricket Council in Dubai, as well as the Football Association in London.

LONDON—Instinctif Partners has been appointed by Fisch Asset Management, a global leader in convertible bonds, to raise its pan-European profile. The Instinctif team is headed by managing partner, capital markets and corporate affairs, Ben Curson and associate partner Nick Woods and will report into Fisch's head of marketing and sales Hansjoerg Herzog and head of marketing and communications Freshta Modjib.
