LONDON—Ogilvy PR has hired Eulogy's Lara Leventhal to the newly-created role of deputy MD at its London office.

Leventhal departs after 14 years with Eulogy, where she was most recently managing director. At Ogilvy she will report to MD Michael Frohlich, who is expected to take on EMEA leadership next year.

"[Leventhal's] knowledge, experience and reputation are the perfect fit for Ogilvy Public Relations/London as we move into a new era of growth," said Frohlich. Leventhal is charged with building on the agency's impressive growth over the past three years.

Eulogy, meanwhile, has hired MHP's Elisabeth Field to replace Leventhal. Field departs MHP after five years, having previously worked as a board director at Four Communications.

"It's an interesting time for independents and attracting talent of [Field's] calibre will not just reassure brands we can cover their commercial needs; we believe it will encourage many more to investigate the opportunities an independent outfit such as ourselves can deliver," said Eulogy chief executive Adrian Brady.

Brady added that Field's international experience would also benefit the firm's increasing Anglo-Indian activity; Eulogy also has an operation in India.

"From our research with clients and discussions with candidates it was clear that marrying consumer, corporate and social skills in our leadership team would be an offer that worked for both comms teams and marketing departments," he said.
