LONDON—PayPal is seeking a new EMEA comms head following the departure of Lee Brooke.
Brooke, who joined PayPal as senior director of EMEA communications in mid-2013, has since resurfaced as interim head of business communications at UK firm 3 Monkeys. In the process, it is understood he has relocated from Luxembourg to London.
PayPal VP of global brand and communications Christina Smedley, who hired Brooke to the newly-created EMEA position, confirmed the departure and noted that PayPal has yet to confirm a replacement.
Brooke joined PayPal from Nokia, where he spent three years leading communications for the company's smartphone business.
Prior to that, he held a number of agency roles, including MD of UK tech PR firm Harvard Communications and head of Hill + Knowlton London's tech practice. He also spent almost three years leading regional communications for CA.
A 3 Monkeys representative declined to comment while Brooke did not respond to request for comment.
