The Comms World At Davos 2015

Like no other event, the annual World Economic Forum in Davos provides us with a compelling reminder of how the language of public relations has well and truly penetrated the boardroom.

The importance of trust, the requirement for authenticity, the need to marry profit and purpose — these are all issues that effectively form core elements of the Davos agenda. Whether they amount to genuine change, amid stark income inequality, is another question altogether.

Accordingly, it is no surprise that communications and corporate affairs directors are out in force at the summit, joined by numerous heads of public relations firms big and small.

Thanks to an some excellent work from Quartz, I again researched exactly who is on the official attendee list. The results are below, and demonstrate the event's geographic diversity and its ability to attract senior figures from the corporate and agency worlds.
