SAN FRANCISCO — Hill + Knowlton Strategies’ head of US tech Hadley Wilkins has stepped down with the CEO of sister firm Blanc & Otus running the practice during the interim.

Wilkins resigned at the start of the month. A spokesperson for H+K says the firm is “close to hiring the new head of our US tech practice.” B&O CEO Joshua Reynolds was previously H+K’s global tech head before jumping to its sister agency in August 2013.

H+K’s US tech practice has struggled with a series of losses. This year, the firm lost Salesforce to Nectar, Qualcomm to Weber Shandwick and Polycom to B&O.

Wilkins had been with H+K since 2007 and took over as the US tech lead in 2011. Before that, she was an SVP at FleishmanHillard.

Earlier this month, H+K had a management shakeup in the US when Andy Weitz stepped down as CEO when the Americas region was consolidated under Canadian CEO Mike Coates.
