Account Executive - Ruder Finn

Ruder Finn is seeking a talented Account Executive to provide support across our healthcare accounts. As an Account Executive, you will be a core part of a diverse creative team, utilizing your experience in media research, presentations and project coordination to impact the client’s goals. This position will allow for growth as well as the opportunity to submerge your creativity into key campaigns for the most desired client accounts in the healthcare industry.

 

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Write, edit, and proofread high-quality content including press releases, social media and  blog posts, pitch letters, fact sheets, speeches, presentations, and client correspondence
  • Own administrative account activities and facilitate teamwork to develop agendas, meeting recaps, activity reports, client status reports, and budget trackers
  • Establish relationships and maintain regular contact with key stakeholders, colleagues, vendors, media contacts, and clients
  • Assist team members with additional assignments as needed including media monitoring, research, managing client accounts and other communications materials
  • Actively participate in team, staff, and client meetings and proactively seek and share relevant information
  • Support daily interaction with clients and prospects, work collaboratively with team members to achieve client objectives, help develop strategic recommendations, anticipate challenges and ensure deadline and budget are met

 

What You Have

  • Minimum 1+ years of experience within healthcare/pharmaceutical public relations/communications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations or a related field
  • Excellent writing, verbal, presentation skills and strong attention to details
  • Analytical thinking and organizational skills; ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Awareness of emerging technologies and social platforms and understanding of how they integrate into communication programs
  • Strong interpersonal skills and collaborative mindset
