Account Manager - The Orangeblowfish


Client Management:

  • Independently managing client expectations to foster effectiveness and productivity
  • Leading client meetings to brief all involved parties of status updates, priorities, challenges and client feedback
  • Understanding client needs as well as developing and implementing strategic plans to manage and grow accounts
  • Building and fostering client relationship and exploring new business opportunities with existing clients
  • Preparing client reports as required

Project Management:

  • Building, managing, and meeting project deadlines.
  • Maintaining seamless communication between clients and internal project teams.
  • Researching and collating information at early stage for strategy and creative development.
  • Being the last pair of eyes before any work is released to client.
  • Identifying and liaising with all third-party production partners for all projects.
  • Sourcing products from global and local suppliers as required for production needs.
  • Liaising with third party vendors and negotiating contracts and pricing as required.
  • Providing on-going support to the client servicing and creative team during production phases
  • Assisting in other tasks as directed by Agency senior team members

Other responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the creative team to deliver uniquely creative branding and effective solutions for clients.
  • Applying creative and strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Acting as mentor to other junior team members so that the quality of work delivered is always consistent, and continuously improving.
  • Participating in business development and/or networking activities including but not limited to research, supporting pitch preparation and attending business development meetings


  • Possesses a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree.
  • Must have 3 years of experience working with an international creative /digital agency and with solid account management experience.
  • Is a team player and willing to go the extra mile.
  • Has proven ability to act as an advisor to personnel who are Director level and above.
  • Is obsessed with everything relating to creative and design, campaign strategies, digital marketing strategies and best practices.
  • Possesses strong knowledge of digital tools such as WeChat, Weibo, RED, WordPress, and more.
  • Is a strong communicator and has the innate ability to navigate and interact with key stakeholders, clients and the media to get the job done.
  • Has the ability to navigate and adapt to new and challenging situations, solve problems, and communicate with those around you.
  • Demonstrates strategic planning abilities such as revenue projections, account growth and so forth
  • Must be fluent English and Mandarin (written and spoken)
