You can effectively manage communications with both employees and managers, leading conversations with a balance of empathy and an understanding of business needs. You are vigilant in maintaining confidentiality and discretion at all times.

As part of the Talent department, our Talent Management team is charged with delivering an amazing employee experience and ensuring our systems, tools and processes support our growing people and business needs. You will be an integral part of Talent Management’s growth and success by administering and building new leave processes and policies to ensure compliance. You will serve as the main point of contact for employee leaves and accommodation requests.


  • Manage the administration and tracking of all company leaves of absence, including FMLA, parental leave, paid family leave, short term disability, sabbatical, and other federal, state and local leaves
  • Serve as the primary Talent department point of contact for employees with leave inquiries, advising employees and managers on the leave process and related policies.
  • Track and manage the reasonable accommodation process for employees with requests.
  • Review all case escalations on a regular basis with managers and Talent Management, partnering with Talent Business Partners when necessary, when performance concerns are raised.
  • Continuously keep track of new federal, state and local laws and industry trends, and spearhead changes to policy and process when needed.



  • Responsible for ensuring all terminations, hires, leaves, and employee changes are entered into Reach and PeopleSoft accurately, on-time, and submitted to AAS-PAYROLL before the payroll deadline.
  • Partner with Finance Team for bi-weekly payroll review.
  • Conduct Payroll and Benefits orientation for all new hires.



  • 5+ years of directly relevant experience in managing leaves of absence
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, highly proficient with formulas
  • Strong organization, attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local leave laws
