Chief Operating Officer - iMiller PR


The Chief Operating Officer is the right-hand of the CEO and must create a regular, positive and aligned partnership as the day-to-day leader of the firm.  Direct responsibilities is oversight, management and optimization of the firm’s systems, reporting and operational teams including digital marketing, reporting, social media, content and event support enabling the account teams to focus on strategy, implementation and project management as they tend to the day-to-day needs of the firm’s clients.  


The COO role is a key member of the senior management team, reporting only to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). You’ll have to maintain control of diverse business operations in a rapidly changing environment with day-to-day demands expecting high quality and rapid responses with accuracy, professionalism and appropriateness. So we expect you to be an experienced and efficient leader. If you also have excellent people skills, business acumen and exemplary work ethics, we welcome your interest.


The goal of the COO position is to secure the functionality of the company’s business to drive extensive and sustainable growth.



  • Review and refine existing business strategies, plans and procedures
  • Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth
  • Review and create policies and programs that promote company culture and vision
  • Oversee daily operations of the company and the work of core supporting departments  (Digital, Content, Social Media, Events and Reporting)
  • Ensure key deliverables are focused on the companies core services, capabilities and strategic direction as set forth by the CEO
  • Lead employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication
  • Evaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics
  • Write and submit reports to the CEO in all matters of importance
  • Participate in expansion activities (services, alliances, partnerships and more)
  • Manage relationships with partners/vendors



  • Proven experience as Chief Operating Office or relevant role at a PR or Marketing firm
  • Understanding of business functions such as HR, Finance, marketing etc.
  • Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development
  • Working knowledge of PR and Marketing reporting and data analysis and performance/operation metrics
  • Working knowledge of IT/Business infrastructure, Google for Business, Insightly, HootSuite, Sprout Social, Email platforms and more
  • Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
  • Excellent interpersonal and interest in public speaking to augment the CEO’s public role
  • Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving
  • BSc/BA in Business Administration or relevant field; MSc/MBA is a plus
