Digital Account Supervisor - Ruder Finn

Ruder Finn is seeking an exceptional Digital Account Supervisor to provide strategic counsel and digital execution for its clients in the healthcare practice. This role will oversee the development, planning and execution of high-quality digital programs for clients, and play a key role in growing new and existing business. We want a strong story teller who can  develop  and execute compelling social and digital healthcare content.


Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a primary digital point of contact, anticipating client needs and ensuring quality control
  • Develop and manage digital and social media communications materials, long-term plans, new ideas, and program recommendations mapping back to larger content strategy and core client objectives
  • Demonstrate practical and advanced understanding of social media and the digital landscape and how to incorporate into client programs
  • Maintain clear and consistent communications between the client and account team; help manage client expectations and flag issues, as appropriate
  • Serve as a role model to other members and directly supervise junior staff by motivating, coaching, consistently providing feedback, holding them accountable, supporting training and development; conduct performance reviews;
  • Support new business efforts, participate in research, development, and presentation of new business proposals


What You Have:

  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in digital communications
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, marketing or a related field
  • Awareness of emerging technologies and social platforms and demonstrate understanding of how they integrate into communication programs
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with team members
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, presentation skills and organizational skills
  • Knowledge and experience on digital healthcare campaigns in key therapeutic areas including oncology, diabetes, mental health and infectious disease
