The VP will play a critical role in supporting the portfolio of clients at Broadsheet Communications.
Broadsheet Communications is a PR and marketing agency based in New York. We work with startups and established brands to increase valuations, drive sales and build trust through expert media relations and supporting external communications.
This position works in close collaboration with the agency founder to develop strategies and tactical campaigns that support our portfolio of clients in the technology, media, and digital advertising industries.
Manage a portfolio of 4-6 clients
Develop and execute media relations programs on behalf of clients
Drive media results across trade, business, and top-tier press
Maintain positive and beneficial client relationships
Participate in new business prospecting, preparation, and pitching
Serve as the primary point of contact for accounts
Create communication plans that highlight our client's valuable insights, products, and industry innovations
Contribute to the strategy and development of thought leadership on behalf of clients
Run client planning calls and develop corresponding strategy and execution plans
Maintain press and influencer relationships with core media in the technology, advertising and media industries
Track results and develop quarterly reports that illustrate deliverables against client plans and KPIs
Requirements: Results-oriented and self-directed
Team player with 5-10 years of corporate and/or agency experience capable of understanding and communicating complex concepts
Comfortable with and thrive within a fast-moving organization in the early stages of development
Background in media, marketing, and/or information services
Experience with communications, marketing, media and PR
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, proactively identify and resolve challenges or roadblocks, and produce high-quality deliverables on time and on budget
Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to turn data into insights quickly and eloquently
Willingness to embrace change as a constant and a keen belief in creativity as a tool for innovation
