  • Developed and carried out a strategic advocacy communications campaign on the National Infant Immunization Week, a World Health Organization, WHO awareness program for Nurses Who Vaccinate, a nonprofit in the Long Island. The campaign helped raise awareness on the importance of infant immunization in the Wyandanch, Brentwood, Central Islip areas of Long Island.
  • Carried out a Public Relations evaluation of UCP Suffolk ‘Life Without Limit Walk & Wheel program,’ a fund-raising campaign to raise $1million for UCP. My recommendations for more publicity to attract potential donors outside the organizations’ email list, more presence in the traditional media, and development of a dedicated interactive website for the campaign were accepted and implemented.
  • Spearheaded brand creation and media launch for a startup pay-tv company. The plan included coordinating all corporate and marketing communications activities. The work resulted in successful roll out for the company with its first one thousand subscribers.
  • Coordinated a media announcement and publicity for Dr. Akinboboye, on appointment as the first black chair of the cardiovascular board of the American Board of Internal Medicine. The announcement became a media blitz generating very high internet buzz.
