HONG KONG — Noelle Gahan, who has led Huawei account teams at FleishmanHillard and BCW, is now blockchain player Digital Transaction's first CMO.

Gahan departs Harmony OPRG, where she spent less than 18 months as SVP. Prior to that, Gahan was an MD and global Huawei lead at BCW since 2016.

At Digital Transaction, Gahan is charged with developing brand awareness and reputation for the Hong Kong startup, along with product marketing and partner/ecosystem support. She sits on the board of directors and reports to CEO and founder Ian Huang, who launched the company in 2018 with its own blockchain technology called ParallelChain.

Gahan told PRovoke Media that her team is focused on building trust in the startup's technology and elevating global awareness. "I am currently looking at the media mix to drive awareness and consideration," she said. "Then I will explore how to optimise content creation to support our brand awareness and reputation goals."

"We are targeting niche partners as well as the tier one and two consulting firms who have shown interest in including our technology into their own ecosystems," added Gahan. "These partnerships enable us to build trust in our technology with our target audience."

Gahan's career also includes senior marketing roles at HP, Cisco and Movius.
