It was a landmark year for Action Global Communications, which celebrated 30 years of operations in the UAE and the wider region, 20 years in Qatar, and the relaunch of its office in Riyadh. The anniversaries were underscored by exceptional growth, high-profile client collaborations, award-winning campaigns and an expanding regional footprint which led to multiple agency and campaign awards from PRWeek, ICCO and Campaign. 

Over its decades in business, Action Global has evolved through the region’s transformation while remaining connected to its culture and communities, with its integrated work – produced in both English and Arabic – grounded in local nuance and market dynamics. The agency is led by CEO Chris Christodoulou, supported by UAE and Saudi Arabia general manager Barry King, MENA MD Euan Megson, and Qatar country manager Eliana Maakaroun. 

In 2024, Action Global increased its revenue by 26%, with a 45% rise in pre-tax profits. Its operations in Qatar also saw a notable 42% year-on-year revenue increase. It added more than 30 new clients, including Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism and Al-Ghurair Group, as well as multi-year briefs across the region. The agency's client roster now includes the Arab Monetary Fund, Black+Decker, CityScape Global, Globe Soccer, Dubai Municipality, Early Childhood Authority, IHG, PowerSchool, Qatar Sports Investments, Sobha Realty, Temu and Waldorf Astoria.

Notable campaigns last year included 'More Than a Game' for the Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge, which positioned sports as a catalyst for educational growth. With a long history in the tourism and hospitality sector, Action Global's strategic communications work for major events, such as the LEAP technology mega-event and the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships, have have enhanced brand visibility and audience engagement. The agency's thought leadership over the year included its 'Why ESG Matters” research in the UAE, which explored public perceptions of ESG and its influence on brand reputation, consumer behaviour, and purchasing decisions.
