Evercom’s success stems from operating under its guiding tenet, honed during the pandemic: that Evercom’s role is compassionately strengthening the ties among people, companies, and institutions, while putting clients — and their purpose — at the center of conversations and movements. It is particularly well-known for undertaking numerous projects aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals defined by the UN. In 2024, it became a B Corp, reflecting an approach that transcendx purely commercial objectives and that seek to generate a positive impact on society as a whole.

What is now Evercom—it started life as C&IC Comunicación y Relaciones Públicas, adopting the somewhat more user-friendly name in 2009— was created in 1996 by two professionals from the world of journalism: Alberte Santos, who continues as CEO to this day, and Antón Álvarez. It has offices in Madrid and Barcelona and is a member of IPRN (International Public Relations Network), a network of independent public relations agencies that provides access to overseas markets and gives Evercom a more global perspective than many of its local competitors.

Evercom saw revenues increased by about 18% in 2024, to €10 million, with clients spanning five broad practices: finance (Inverco, Franklin Templeton, Morrow Sodali, Aegon); consumer products companies (Suntory, Heineken, Midas, Jaguar/Land Rover); corporate and public affairs (Ecovidrio, Hydnum Steel, XPO Logistics); business-to-business (Canon, John Deere, ID Logistics, ISS Facility Services); and technology (Cloudera, Esri, Lenovo). All five areas are supplemented by the firm’s two additional divisions: Creativity and the Evolution digital services unit.

The firm has 120 people in offices in Madrid and Barcelona, and has been named among the Top 10 Most Attractive Communication Consultants to work for in Spain according to research company Scopen. Other recent recognition includes being names the second Best Digital Agency in Spain by Ctrl Publicidad and the third Best Social Media Agency by the Escuela Europea de Empresa.—PH
