Founded by chief client officer Jo Carr and chief creative officer James Gordon-Macintosh in 2011 with the ambitious aim of becoming the most admired PR agency in the UK, Hope&Glory has established a reputation as one of the creative powerhouses of the industry, and shows no sign of resting on its laurels or losing its creative edge.

Financially, Hope&Glory delivered another solid performance last year, with fee income just shy of £12m and a healthy 19% margin. The agency reported 10% year-on-year income growth, with its December 2024 run-rate up 20% compared to the previous year and profits increasing by 26%.

This success stems from client retention and expansion, growing work with existing clients such as Sainsbury's (up by 75%), Pokemon (54%), Barclays (52%), Uber (47%), and IKEA (30%). Hope&Glory also secured significant new business wins including Samsung, Lego, Dyson, Carlsberg, Discord, Meta, Odeon and Chelsea FC Women.

The agency's attention-grabbing campaigns continued to garner industry recognition. Overall, it has been shortlisted over 1,320 times at awards shows and won 515 of those, placing it as the highest-ranked UK agency and only non-network in the Provoke Global Creative Index.

Standout campaigns included its ‘Missing Birthdays’ installation for CALM that displayed 6,292 birthday cakes representing young lives lost to suicide; unexpectedly partnering Nigella Lawson with Greggs for the brand’s first Christmas ad; and creating ‘Uber Eats Hosts...’ featuring Brooklyn Beckham as a guest chef to elevate perceptions of the brand.

Hope&Glory has also expanded its international work, now serving as EMEA or global agency of record for brands including Uber, Pepsi International Beverages, Carlsberg, YouTube, Google, and Meta. It has also grown its data-led influencer practice, which now makes up more than 20% of fee income.

The agency's philosophy of being “a great place to work that also creates great work” has paid dividends, with it being recognised by multiple best places to work awards, including making its debut on the Sunday Times "Best Places to Work" listing in 2024. Hope&Glory prioritises staff retention and development, with 20 team members having served over eight years and 40 over five years. Half of its team started as interns, and it now has three former-intern board directors. The agency invests heavily in training and development, while maintaining some of the most progressive workplace policies in the industry, including flexible hours, enhanced parental leave, and comprehensive returnship support — MPS
