Milk & Honey PR, founded in 2017 by industry veteran Kirsty Leighton, has rapidly evolved into a leading agency known for its people-first approach and commitment to purposeful branding. Pioneering B Corp practices in the PR sector, it has built a diverse and inclusive workplace, with a focus on supporting team members’ personal and professional wellbeing. This commitment to corporate responsibility and sustainability sets it apart in a crowded marketplace, allowing Milk & Honey to nurture the reputations of brands that aim to make a positive impact.

Despite facing a challenging business environment, Milk & Honey demonstrated resilience in its financial performance. In 2024, the agency adapted to adversity with a strategic focus on growth, securing partnerships and expanding its global presence. The agency now operates from offices in APAC, Europe, North America, and the UK, employing 36 people, with a notable increase in client acquisitions. New partnerships, including a collaboration with Abu Dhabi’s 9Yards Communications, have broadened its service offerings and geographic reach.

Milk & Honey has also distinguished itself through innovative campaigns and thought leadership. Its ability to integrate seamlessly into client teams has led to impressive results, with notable campaigns such as creating the term "Groundhogging" for a dating app, which gained significant media traction. The agency’s work with a global sporting equipment brand highlighted its expertise in environmental sustainability, and saw the brand invited to exhibit its sustainable products at the UN building in New York and to speak at a UN Fashion Lifestyle Network event.

The agency’s culture is another cornerstone of its success. Founded and led by women (the UK operation is headed up by Kath Myers) it boasts a 100% female UK board and a workforce that prioritizes diversity and inclusion. This commitment is reflected in its employee ownership structure, with 74% of staff owning 55% of the business. Milk & Honey fosters a supportive environment through flexible working arrangements and comprehensive health and well-being programs, ensuring a motivated and engaged team. — DM
