GLOUCESTER, UK — A new cosmetics company co-founded by Freddy Ward, the former director of marketing at food box company Hello Fresh, has appointed 10 Yetis Digital to handle its PR.

After a year-long trial run in 2019 and 25 iterations of its formulations and packaging, Wild is launching its first product – a compostable and biodegradable natural deodorant – globally. Digital marketing agency 10 Yetis will be supporting the new brand, initially in the UK, with consumer and B2B product profiling, content, press office and SEO.

The forthcoming launch campaign is targeted with building brand awareness and driving traffic to e-commerce site wearewild.com, to boost sales and SEO rankings.

Ward, who had worked in the marketing team at Hello Fresh since 2012 before leaving to start his new natural cosmetics venture at the end of 2018, said: “Launching in these uncertain times, we really wanted an agency with a positive attitude and a proven track record of producing measurable results as we had little time for PR fluff. 10 Yetis provided just that, responding to our brief with a great plan that really resonated with the Wild team’s disruptive mentality.”

10 Yetis owner Andy Barr added: “We are really excited to be working with Wild on this campaign. Despite everything that is going on in the world, we want to prove to brands that you can still carry out a successful PR campaign and we are looking forward to getting started and really generating a great buzz around a really great product.”
