JOHANNESBURG — The Holmes Report is returning to Johannesburg to hold its second African In2 Innovation Summit on 29 March, 2017.

The 2017 In2Summit Africa follows last year's successful inaugural conference in region, which brought together industry leaders from PR, advertising and journalism to explore how Africa's communications world is changing quickly, in a region that remains among the most optimistic about the growth of public relations.

Last year's speaker lineup included business leaders and senior communications executives from McDonald's, Uber, Sasol, Standard Bank, Telkom, Google, Microsoft, Vedanta and Samsung. Also onstage were agency heads from our eight event partners, and some prominent names from the worlds of advertising and journalism.

Our 2017 South Africa In2Summit aims to build on the remarkable success of the first edition, by further exploring the innovation, disruption and evolution that is redefining influence and engagement in the country and the wider region.

The one-day conference will take place on March 29 at The Maslow in Johannesburg. It will be led by Holmes Report president & editor-in-chief Arun Sudhaman and has already secured seven partner firms: Weber ShandwickAtmosphereBurson-MarstellerEngage Joe PublicMagna CartaOgilvy PR and WE Communications, along with global trade body ICCO.

Once again, we will bring together a number of industry leaders from PR, advertising and journalism to explore how Africa's communications world is rapidly evolving. Speakers will be announced shortly and full programme details will be available here.

Thanks to our partners, and as a signal of our long-term commitment to the market, registration for the event is currently free, for the first 100 delegates until 24 February. Once this early bird offer ends, the next 50 tickets sold are priced at US$25 (ZAR350) before full price US$50 tickets go on sale.
