Ogilvy PR was named Asia-Pacific Regional Consultancy of the Year (Large) at the 2023 Asia-Pacific SABRE Awards — which took place in Singapore last night.

The WPP PR firm took the top honour ahead of BCW, MSL, Ruder Finn and Weber Shandwick. Ogilvy PR's selection was led by strong performances from its Australia, China and Southeast Asian operations, supported by impressive creative and digital/influencer work, which underpinned growth of more than 13% in 2022. Ogilvy was also named Australasian PR Consultancy of the Year. 

Sandpiper took the same honour among Midsize firms for the first time in its history, fighting off competition from Allison+Partners, Golin, WE and Zeno. The midsize independent delivered strong performances across Singapore, Hong Kong and mainland China, alongside expansion of its healthcare, technology, ESG, research and financial services capabilities. 

Meanwhile, the Hoffman Agency was named Technology Consultancy of the Year for the third consecutive year, while Weber Shandwick retained the Healthcare Consultancy of the Year award that it first won in 2022.

Ruder Finn also repeated as Greater China Consultancy of the Year, while BCW took home Consultancy of the Year in Digital and Southeast Asia. Avian WE was named South Asia Consultancy of the Year, while two more Indian firms — First Partners and PR Pundit — also landed Consultancy of the Year honours, reflecting the best ever showing from the country in this competition.
