WASHINGTON, DC—The American Chemical Society Green Chemistry Institute has hired Environics Communications as its new national public relations agency. The ACS Green Chemistry Institute is a not-for-profit devoted to promoting the advancement of green chemistry. Environics will be working with the Institute to help build awareness of three roundtables representing the pharmaceutical, chemical manufacturer’s and formulator’s industry segments.  The agency will conduct an extensive audit of trade and consumer awareness around green chemistry and then develop a communications strategy to promote each individual roundtable.

LOS ANGELES—The Nonhuman Rights Project has selected Los Angeles-based agency Sagon-Phior for branding, social media and PR, to assist with its pursuit of legal rights for specific nonhuman animals.
Sagon-Phior will develop a national strategic social media and public relations campaign for the NhRP. The project will include brand messaging development, public relations, digital and social media, support and positioning as the NhRP files the first of many lawsuits.
