PARIS—Global CEOs of APCO Worldwide, FleishmanHillard, GolinHarris, Huntsworth, Ogilvy PR and Porter Novelli will gather to discuss the future of the agency business at the International Communications Consultancy Organisation’s Summit, “Change or Perish: The Future of PR,” in Paris this October.

Among the highlights of day one are speeches from two of the most powerful women in the industry: Margery Kraus (pictured) and Karen van Bergen. Kraus, founder and CEO of APCO Worldwide, will speak about the role of women in shaping the past and future direction of PR. Porter Novelli global CEO Karen van Bergen will tackle the existing diversity crisis within the industry.

On the same day FleishmanHillard and GolinHarris Chief Executives Dave Senay and Fred Cook will present their contrasting versions of the “Agency of the Future” based on the recent reorganisations their consultancies underwent, in a debate moderated by Paul Holmes, editor of The Holmes Report.

In the afternoon of the first day, representatives from Weber Shandwick, Text 100, Burson-Marsteller, GolinHarris, Wellcom and maslansky + partners will discuss the latest techniques PR consultancies develop to improve their services, and potential areas of research in the future.

The second Summit day will feature a keynote by Huntsworth CEO Lord Chadlington and a major address by the global CEO of Ogilvy PR, Christopher Graves, who will talk about the five forces that will change the agency business for good. IN addition, senior director of media, entertainment and information industries at the World Economic Forum Diana El-Azar will present the findings of the WEF Global Agenda Council study on the Future of the Media.
