NEW YORK—Ketchum has appointed Julie Ferriot to the newly created position of global director of Ketchum social responsibility. In her new role, Ferriot will expand the firm’s robust KSR program, continue to engage employees in volunteerism efforts, and oversee Ketchum’s four-year global pro bono partnership with Room to Read, a global charity dedicated to supporting literacy and gender equality in education. Ferriot was a vice president and management supervisor in the corporate practice of Ketchum West’s San Francisco office.

CLEVELAND—Lisa Rose (pictured) has been named to head the investor relations practice at Dix & Eaton. A senior managing director of the firm, Rose is a member of its leadership committee and board of directors. Rose, a member of the IR practice for most of her 16 years with the firm, advises clients on a full range of strategic communications matters, including shareholder communications, corporate governance counsel, investor targeting, proxy contests and shareholder activism, M&A, bankruptcy and more.

BOSTON—Rasky Baerlein Strategic Communications has promoted Nicoleta Jordan to marketing manager and account coordinator. Most recently, she served as the executive assistant to Larry Rasky, the firm’s chairman. Prior to joining Rasky Baerlein, Jordan was a marketing and events manager for Color Magazine.

MIAMI—Newlink Group, an integrated consulting firm, has appointed Ian McCluskey as vice president, reputation management and public affairs for Newlink Communications. McCluskey, who was editor and publisher of América Economía magazine, will be responsible for consolidating and growing the reputation management and public affairs practice for the company, both domestically and across the Americas.

ATLANTA— Nataraj Iyer, a brand management and marketing executive with more than 25 years of experience at Procter & Gamble, has joined brand research and communications firm The Brandware Group as chief operating officer. In addition to leading Brandware’s product and service portfolio strategy and development, Iyer will direct all areas of the firm’s operations, including financial management and human resources. Iyer served in multiple brand management, marketing leadership and manufacturing operations positions at P&G for top brands in the beauty and household needs categories.
