WASHINGTON, DC—The Glover Park Group has added Aryana Khalid to its health and wellness practice as a managing director. Khalid joins GPG after most recently serving as executive vice president at America's Health Insurance Plans. Prior to her role at AHIP, Khalid served as the senior advisor and chief of staff at the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services, where she played a role in the implementation of the Affordable Care Act.

TORONTO—Zeno Group has appointed Julie Georgas managing director of Zeno Canada. She was previously founder and "chief instigator" of Toronto-based Instigator Communications, which provided PR, social and influencer campaigns. Instigator is closing its doors after 10 years, but its clients are following Georgas to Zeno Group, as is colleague Jordan D'Amico.

WASHINGTON, DC—Gregory Treverton, former chairman of the National Intelligence Council and an intelligence and global risk expert, has joined APCO’s international advisory council. Treverton most recently served as the chairman of the National Intelligence Council, a positon that he held from 2014 to Inauguration Day 2017. Prior to that, he held several leadership positions within the RAND Corporation, including as director of the RAND Center for Global Risk & Security.

PITTSBURGH—Havas PR has promoted Melissa Rieger to the role of vice president; Julianne Muszynski to associate vice president; and Breanna Stephens to assistant account executive. Rieger will lead several key accounts, including LivaNova and Transitions Optical for its managed vision care initiatives. She joined Havas PR in 2006 with a background as a television news reporter. Muszynski, who joined Havas PR in 2016, is now managing client initiatives for Covestro.
