NEW YORK — TJ Kelly has joined BCW in the newly created role of president, Western region, BCW North America. Effective September 6, Kelly will be responsible for business growth, client satisfaction and talent management across BCW’s current and future operations in the Western region of the United StatesKelly has more than 25 years of experience developing and executing integrated communications and marketing strategies that promote engagement and action across a client’s entire stakeholder base. Kelly spent the last 13 years with Edelman, most recently as executive VP, digital, technology and financial services sectors. Prior to that role, Kelly served for three years as executive VP, managing director, global client relationship manager with Edelman’s Assembly Media, which serviced the global Microsoft business.

NEW YORK — Fiza Gujaran has joined Day One Agency in the newly created role of executive VP of people, culture and diversity. Gujaran (pictured) will oversee all recruitment, onboarding, learning and development, workplace culture, DE&I infrastructure and process across all of the agency’s offices in New York, Los Angeles, Portland and Chicago. Gujaran will serve on the executive leadership team, and report to CEO and co-founder Josh Rosenburg and president and co-founder Brad Laney. Before joining the Day One Agency Gurjaran served as head of people for AlixPartners’ turnaround and restructuring business for seven years. Gujaran also worked as an external client-facing human capital consultant at KPMG and Deloitte.

MINNEAPOLIS — Chris Werle has joined Padilla’s corporate advisory group as senior VP. Werle is tasked with leading the agency’s crisis communications and critical issues management practice and helping clients develop strategies and solutions for protecting their brands and reputations. He previously served as VP, global marketing communications for Estee Lauder Corporation and as executive VP and consumer practice lead at Weber Shandwick.

WASHINGTON — Clyde Group has announced the promotions of team members whose work focuses on areas including strategic communications, healthcare, public affairs, DE&I practices and digital design work. Jenny Wang has been promoted to senior VP and Geoff Vetter has been promoted to senior VP president of public affairs. The agency’s newly named VPs are Sasha Benett, Lilia Dashevsky and Laura Beth Telep. Nicole Pappas has been promoted to as assistant vice president. Team members who have been promoted to account executive include Caleigh Geiger, Emma Zubiago and Rojahne Azwoir with Sammy Sklarin as an assistant account executive. Joe Conelly has been promoted to director. Katie Toepp enters the role as a creative senior associate.

SAN DIEGO — Crow PR has announced its East Coast expansion with four key hires. Client leads Lexi Kirland and Natalie Breneman joined Crowe’s account services as senior account manager and account manager respectively, while media experts Kellie Benz and Alyssa Benson joined the firm as senior media specialists. With experience at Wolfson Children’s Hospital, Kirkland will lead key campaigns for clients across healthcare, hospitality and consumer goods verticals. Benz brings more than four years of experience in public relations and marketing and will be responsible for media strategy and securing editorial placements through creative storytelling and outreach. Breneman will lead and support key hospitality and consumer goods accounts and special projects. Benson will engage in media audiences across the country daily through creative pitch angles and the coordination and facilitation of interviews across several client verticals.

MIAMI — The Dana Agency has appointed Paula Gomez VP. Gomez will manage the recent growth of the firm’s national real estate and hospitality portfolio. Previously Paula Gomez served as the lead strategist for the Cancun Convention & Visitor’s Bureau and managed communications for hotel brands including AMResorts, Palace Resorts and Oasis Hotels. She also served as in-house public relations manager for Fontainebleau Miami Beach.
