NEW YORK — PAN Communications has expanded its national footprint with the opening of its New York office, coinciding with the hiring of Ryan M. Wallace as vice president and general manager. The firm's expansion into New York aims to attract new brands and allow the firm to work closely its current clients who are headquartered in the greater New York metropolitan area. The expansion is part of the agency's five-year growth plan as it also plans to attract additional talent. Prior to his role as VM and GM, Wallace worked with the corporate communications team at NRG Energy Inc., where he was responsible fora variety of executive, industry and internal communications initiatives. Prior to NRG, he lead the East Coast practice at MWW, and before that, Bite Global's New York office. 

SAN FRANCISCO — Digital marketing and communications firm W2O Sentient has appointed Dominic Viola as managing director of client services and Michael Spitz as practice leader, strategy. Viola has 20 years experience in healthcare. Prior to his new role, he served as executive vice president, group management director at FCBCURE. He will be based in the firm's Morristown office. Meanwhile, Spitz joins the firm from Klick Health, where he served as vice president of strategy. Before that, he was senior vice president of digital health at Edelman. He will be based in the firm's New York office.

ST. LOUIS — Public relations firm the Vandiver Group has appointed Heather Murdick as director, creative content. In addition, Nate Shyrock has joined the team as manager, digital strategy, and Andrew Woodcock has joined as account executive. Murdick has over two decades experience in media, publishing, technical writing and creative direction. Prior to the Vandiver Group, she worked for a global construction management firm. Meanwhile, Syrock joins the firm after three years in the digital marketing industry. Prior to his new role, he was an analytics manager analyzing social media campaigns to determine ROI and brand lift. Woodcock joins Vandiver after completing internships at a global public relations agency as well as hockey team, the St. Louis Blues.

CHICAGO — Marketing agency FCB Chicago has welcomed Jenina Nunez as director of communications. She will oversee the agency's public relations and corporate communications efforts across media outlets and digital platforms while collaborating with senior leadership to generate strategic development plans. She will report to Kelly Graves, chief marketing officer and Brandon Cooke, global chief communications officer. Prior to FCB, Nunez held various positions at McDonald's, most recently serving as manger of US marketing, field communications and alignment.

CHESTER, NJ — PR and communications firm strat-igence has appointed Renee Kopkowski as president and partner. She filled the position on August 14, 2017 and before joining the firm, served as a former corporate executive and gained experience in global brand marketing communications. Prior to this role, Kopkowski served as vice president of communications for Popeye's Louisiana Kitchen. Before that, she led global external communications for Mars, Inc. At Popeye's and Mars, Kopkowski developed corporate communications and PR strategies to build the companies' reputations. Before joining the corporate world, she spent eight years as co-owner of Wonder Public Relations, a boutique comms agency based near Atlanta.

SAN FRANCISCO — Political consulting firm Storefront Political Media has promoted Julie Edwards to managing director and senior vice president. She is tasked with overseeing political and media operations for the firm's 30 consultants, strategists, content creators and media buyers. Edwards joined Storefront in 2014, after working across the US on various statewide campaigns. Prior to joining the firm, she served as communications director for Senator Elizabeth Warren's 2012 race and for Senator Patty Murray's 2010 re-eletion campaign.

BLUE BELL, PA — Kimball Communications has promoted Eileen Coyne to senior public relations manger. In her new role, she will play a leading role in guiding public relations account strategy across the agency. Coyne will continue to oversee and manage client accounts with a particular focus on those in the insurance and professional association sectors. She joined the firm in early 2016 as a PR manager, with over 15 years experience in PR and journalism, with a focus on insurance, financial services and association. Prior to joining Kimball, she served as an account manager at IMRE, a Baltimore PR and marketing agency. There, she oversaw the agency's largest insurance account, a top US carrier.
