WASHINGTON — Brunswick Group has hired Kenneth Weinstein as a senior advisor based in Washington. Weinstein will focus on US-Japan issues and advise both Japanese clients and international clients with operations in Japan. He is the Walter P. Stern distinguished fellow at Hudson Institute, where he works on US foreign policy, having been CEO of Hudson from 2005-2011 and president and CEO from 2011-2021. He was the US Ambassador-designate to Japan from 2020-2021.

WASHINGTON — Health and public affairs expert Mathew Shearman has joined APCO Worldwide as North America health care practice lead. Prior to joining APCO, Shearman served as a senior VP of public affairs and crisis at BCW. In this role, he provided strategic counsel to many Fortune 500 companies from across the health care sector.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — Cheryl Donaldson has joined Crosby Marketing Communications as VP of technology project management. She will play a lead role in overseeing Crosby’s growing team that creates large-scale websites, mobile apps, digital experiences, and marketing technology solutions for clients. Donaldson has more than 25 years of experience, most recently as a VP at R2integrated in Baltimore for the past 16 years. She has led teams on major web builds and enterprise technology solutions for national brands, with a strong background in development best practices, project management and agile principles.
