WASHINGTON — Powell Tate, the public affairs unit of The Weber Shandwick Collective, has appointed Joshua Wu as senior VP of analytics + intelligence. Wu will be based in Washington and oversee a team of analytics talent at Powell Tate and across Weber Shandwick’s South Geo, including Baltimore, Dallas and Atlanta. Wu will also be a partner in growing the senior advisory work as part of the agency’s new Business & Society Futures offering. Most recently, Wu served as an SVP of performance analytics at Marina Maher Communications.

NEW YORK — Rida Bint Fozi has been promoted to president and co-owner of The TASC Group after serving as managing director. In her new role, Fozi will continue to oversee high-level account management and company-wide DEI initiatives, while assuming new responsibilities in the areas of client acquisition and co-owner status in The TASC Group overall. Since joining TASC in 2012, Fozi (pictured) has spearheaded national and international media campaigns, local grassroots efforts and creative advertising, gala events, film screenings and arts festivals and managed crisis communications campaigns. Most notably, Fozi guided the family of Trayvon Martin as they unveiled the Trayvon Martin Foundation and served as a trusted advisor to the United Way of New York City, the Heather Heyer Foundation, NYU Tisch School of the Arts, the David Lynch Foundation, Dictionary.com and the Stella Adler Studio of Acting.

CHICAGO — The Grossman Group has appointed Jason Greenspan head of client service. Greenspan is a communication industry leader with more than two decades of strategy expertise driving large-scale transformation in big organizations. In his tenure at The Grossman Group, which he joined last year after 16 years at McDonald’s, Greenspan has contributed to significant growth and impact with the firm's clients. In his new role, Greenspan will lead the senior team of consultants to drive change and growth for their clients.

NEW YORK — Jennifer Bett Communications has made two senior leadership promotions. Libbey Baumgarten, most recently executive VP, has been promoted to head of growth and will oversee the expansion of JBC’s services, including affiliate marketing, executive speaking, crisis communications, partnerships and media training. Senior VP Ilana Dvir will become the company’s first head of strategy, where she will focus on new business development and oversee strategic ideation for the agency’s full roster.

DENVER — Christina Cherry has joined UpSpring as senior communications director. Cherry’s experience spans the travel, hospitality and lifestyle industries, having most recently held a role as PR, communications, and brand consultant at Cherry Creative. Previously, she worked at such firms as New York City-based M18 and NJF.
