ST. LOUIS — FleishmanHillard has named Candace Peterson (pictured) the agency’s global managing director of brand marketing. Peterson is responsible for the creative and activation needed to connect consumers and brands, which will be driven by social data analytics and research. Peterson has been executive creative director of FleishmanHillard’s Dallas office since 2014. She has spent more than 20 years working at creative agencies including Ogilvy & Mather, J. Walter Thompson and TracyLocke.

ANNAPOLIS, MARYLAND — Crosby Marketing Communications has hired Sarah Honig, a former Reingold senior director of communications, as a director and senior strategist. Honig will focus on working with the agency’s growing roster of military-related clients including Military OneSource, the defense department’s platform for service members and their  families.

BALTIMORE — The agency Imre has promoted Jeff Smokler to partner after six years leading the firm's healthcare business. Smokler, who was previously president of imre's healthcare business unit, joins owners Dave Imre and Mark Eber and Partner Crystalyn Stuart to lead the agency into its 25th year. The agency also formally established the Imre health brand alongside its long-standing consumer practice.
