NEW YORK — Ketchum has named Vincent Dente as its US chief creative officer. In his new role, Dente (pictured) will lead a diverse group of creative talent that works across all of Ketchum’s consultancies and capabilities. Dente brings more than 25 years of experience to the role, most recently serving as BCW chief creative officer for North Amerca. Before that, he served as MSL’s US executive creative director and executive creative director at Edelman. Dente will work in close collaboration with Indy Selvarajah, chief creative officer, global markets at Ketchum to drive creative excellence around the world. He will be based out of Ketchum’s NYC marketplace and will report to Jim Joseph.

SYRACUSE, NY — Mower has promoted four executives to its senior leadership team. They are Ashley Montanaro, senior VP of client leadership; Trish Nugent as senior VP, public relations; John O’Hara as VP, public relations; and Pete Wiezalis as VP, growth strategy.

NEW YORK — August has appointed Cari Robinson as senior managing director. Robinson will lead client engagements, focusing on providing strategic communications and crisis management counsel to the firm’s clients in litigations, investigations and crises. Previously, Robinson worked as an assistant US attorney in the Southern District of New York and, following that, worked with IBM as an assistant general counsel. Most recently, Robinson worked at Revlon as general counsel.

ATLANTA — Alloy has appointed Simon Cowart as VP of growth. Cowart will lead marketing, sales and partnerships in his new role. Previously, Cowart built Coca-Cola’s initial entrance into social marketing and has over 20 years of progressive marketing and sales experience.
