LOS ANGELES — After running her own entertainment agency for a decade-plus, Amy Prenner has joined Allied Integrated Marketing as senior VP of national publicity, Prenner will manage publicity for the agency’s film, television, streaming and brand clients, and she will oversee Allied’s national publicity teams in LA and New York.

WASHINGTON — Subject Matter has hired Katie Boehret, a former national technology columnist for the Wall Street Journal, to join its strategic content practice as a senior director. Boehret will work across Subject Matter clients on a variety of initiatives.

BOSTON — Former Money Magazine deputy editor Paul Lim has joined BackBay Communications as a VP. Vim will lead the firm’s asset and wealth management group. His responsibilities include overseeing the group’s accounts and developing and implementing strategic communications plans for clients.
