WASHINGTON — FGS Global has hired Josh Tzuker as global head of antitrust and competition. Tzuker brings over 25 years of government and private sector experience, most recently serving as the Antitrust Division’s chief of staff and senior counsel at the U.S. Department of Justice. Tzuker (pictured) will be based in Washington, and will focus on advising clients on communications and advocacy related to corporate competition, policy, cross-border investments and M&A. He will work closely with Brussels-based partner Sebastian Vos who recently joined FGS after a decade at Covington & Burling advising clients on EU antitrust and competition matters.
SEATTLE — C+C has hired Mark Handy as executive VP, utility solutions. Handy brings over 20 years of experience in the utility sector to C+C. Previously, he served as head of section, clean energy program at DNV, where he led teams working on energy efficiency programs for major utilities. Prior to DNV, Handy held leadership positions at Sun Microsystems and was the CEO of KenJiva Energy Systems.
WASHINGTON — Public affairs firm Signal Group has bolstered its team with several key moves. Erika Bellido-Jin joins the firm's executive team as VP of business operations. Bellido-Jin brings over 10 years of experience in the professional services industry, specializing in streamlining operations and boosting employee engagement. In addition, Signal Group announced the promotions of two staffers: Madeleine Russak has been promoted to senior VP; and Jackson Parker has been promoted to senior associate.
CHICAGO — CG Life has named industry veteran Jay Carter as executive VP, business development. Carter, coming out of retirement, will spearhead CG Life's continued growth across all areas. This includes strengthening their existing life sciences business and expanding their reach as an agency-of-record for biopharmaceutical companies. Carter boasts a career spanning four decades, leading strategic growth for various communications firms. He previously held senior leadership positions, including executive VP of business development at JUICE Pharma Worldwide. Before that, he spent over 35 years at AbelsonTaylor, a Chicago-based health and wellness advertising agency, where he led business development and client relations. Most recently, Carter ran his own consulting firm, Into the Wild Consulting, which offered services to CG Life before his full-time hire.
