LOS ANGELES — Michael Altneu has joined Murphy O’Brien’s as its new VP of real estate. Altneu will lead communications strategy for Murphy O'Brien's roster of real estate clients, overseeing public relations and social media marketing campaigns for luxury residential developments, Class A and B multifamily projects, mixed-use projects, brokerages and residential resort properties across the country. He most recently served as West Coast director and senior associate at creative and branding agency DBOX.

NEW YORK — Caliber Corporate Advisers has hired investment banker turned financial communicator, Jacqueline Silva, as managing director. She has a decade’s worth of experience working for multiple financial PR companies, including opening the first US office of Hume Brophy as its executive VP, head of US corporate communications.

CHICAGO — Jason Vargas and Scott Moller have joined the firm AKA. As CMO, Vargas will continue to expand the company’s capabilities to solve marketing communications challenges for clients with brand awareness and brand experience campaigns. Moller will act as principal, providing senior-level counsel for the company’s roster of blue-chip clients.
