NEW YORK — Edelman has named Christoph Becker as its first-ever global chair of integration, effective July 1. Becker, a 35-year veteran of the advertising and marketing industry, will help drive integration across the network’s full array of offerings including creative, data & intelligence (DxI), digital and strategic planning to enhance how clients already benefit from Edelman’s capabilities. He joins Edelman from gyro, a global creative agency he co-founded 12 years ago and most recently served as CEO and chief creative officer.

SAN FRANCISCO — Allison+Partners has promoted David Richeson to managing director, strategic analytics + digital innovation. In the newly created role, Richeson (pictured) will drive further avenues for data-driven strategy, communications, and other innovative approaches to deliver greater alignment between communications strategies and business goals for the agency and its clients. He has been the agency’s senior VP of digital innovation + influence since 2019.

NEW YORK — Pollock Communications has hired Dorree Gurdak as senior VP of the agency’s consumer division. Gurdak, a strategic, global marketing professional with over 20 years’ experience working with a variety of international brands, will be responsible for managing and expanding Pollock’s PR firm. Before joining Pollock, Gurdak worked as a consultant with Chameleon Collective, and led the Boston consumer practice of Weber Shandwick for 10 years.

NEW YORK — Charlie Gould recently joined RF Bloom as an executive VP. Gould is supporting multiple clients in the technology and pharmaceutical sectors on issues of media strategy and analysis, along with C-suite counsel. He brings nearly 27 years of journalism experience from both broadcast and print newsrooms, most recently serving as a senior producer for Fox Business.

WASHINGTON — Mercury has hired international trade policy and sanctions expert Peter Kucik as managing director to its Washington office. Having spent seven years at the US Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) before joining the private legal sector, Kucik brings extensive experience in helping clients navigate sanctions policy and compliance, litigation, and regulatory matters.

RALEIGH, NC — French/West/Vaughan has made five new hires in influencer marketing, account service, social and paid media in support of the agency’s continued growth.
