NEW YORK — Edelman has named Courtney Gray Haupt and Jen Hauser global co-chairs of its health sector. Gray Haupt (pictured) and Hauser will lead and evolve the firm’s largest sector, its work and its teams while continuing to provide strategic communications advisory to many of Edelman’s top clients. Gray Haupt and Hauser will be joining the community of global practice & sector leaders currently led by chair Alex Thompson. Gray Haupt has been with Edelman for 14 years, most recently as chair of US health, a role she will retain, and as global health COO. Hauser has been with Edelman for 19 years, most recently as global clientl leader to key health clients, a role she will retain. She has led some of the firm’s largest global client relationships including GSK, Haleon, Alcon, Reckitt, and the American Heart Association.
BOSTON — Azziza Brinson has joined PAN as VP of media relations and head of DEI. Brinson joins forces with PAN’s current VP of media relations Ashley Waters to help lead the agency-wide department and support the pursuit of strategic press on behalf of PAN’s clients. She also will work closely with the firm’s executive team and HR department to lead PAN’s DEI efforts internally and externally. Brinson joins from Hotwire, where she was director of media strategy.
WASHINGTON — Tim Mulvey, a seasoned Capitol Hill communications strategist, and Melissa Miller, a campaign communications veteran who most recently managed policy communications for Ford, are joining Precision as senior VPs on the communications team. Mulvey comes to Precision after more than a decade of experience on Capitol Hill, where he served as communications director for the House Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th Attack on the US Capitol. He previously served for nearly seven years as the Democratic communications Ddrector for the House Committee on Foreign Affairs leading communications efforts on congressional activity around international relations, national security matters, and investigations and oversight efforts dealing with the State Department and other foreign-affairs agencies. Miller joins Precision from Ford, where she helped safeguard and bolster the auto company’s reputation and built support for the company’s policy agenda, supporting the brand’s transition into the EV era. Before Ford, Miller spent a decade on the campaign trail, including as deputy communications director at the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) and as press secretary at the Democratic Governors Association (DGA).
NEW YORK — Healthcare firm BGB Group has hired Chris Palmer as chief creative officer. Palmer comes from Havas Life, where he served as chief creative officer & chief experience officer. In this role, Palmer will work to redefine the creative offering and creative integration at BGB.
