NEW YORK — Evoke Kyne has promoted Michael Grela to executive VP, head of reputation and social impact. In this newly established role, he will focus on global social impact client engagements and work with leadership to grow this area of the business, serving as the agency’s in-house specialist. He will also be responsible for evolving and shaping the agency’s own reputation-driving initiatives including the development of new social impact and corporate giving strategies, goals and programs. Grela most recently was a senior VP and head of marketing.

CHICAGO — Current Global has named four new team members whose expertise strengthens its corporate, healthcare and DEI communications and consulting capabilities in North America. The new hires are senior VP Neneh Diallo, who joins from the Millennium Challenge Corporation where she led internal and external comms; VP of healthcare Pegah Mariani, who joins from BCW; VP, DEI communications Rebecca Roussell (pictured), most recently deputy director of diversity and inclusion for the Illinois Department of Central Management Services; and Sena Pottackal joins as junior associate, DEI communications on the corporate team. With multiple disabilities including blindness, she will champion Current’s Accessible by Design commitment.

NEW YORK — Brunswick Group has named Maria Gianoutsos global managing partner, people. Gianoutsos will lead the firm’s people function, with global responsibility for recruitment, talent development and human resources. She joins Brunswick from The Counsel Co, where she was founder and CEO, partnering with senior executives to develop people and build leadership teams. Previously, she was global chief creative talent officer at J. Walter Thompson.

NEW YORK — RooneyPartners has promoted Jeanene Timberlake to the position of director and Jeff Broderick to chief administrative officer. Timberlake, a seven-year veteran of RooneyPartners, is a leading member of the firm’s media-relations practice, in which she has a major role in managing healthcare and life science client programs.  Broderick joined RooneyPartners in 2018 as finance manager. As chief administrative officer, he is responsible for the full range of accounts receivable and accounts payable operations, and human resource management.

NEW YORK — Goodman Media International has elevated John Lee to VP. Lee, who joined GMI in 2015, leads PR efforts for clients in GMI’s professional services practice, including an international law firm and a leading financial advisory firm. He also was part of the GMI leadership team that successfully positioned a digital publishing company for a $132.5 million acquisition. 

SAN DIEGO — Crowe PR has appointed industry veteran Aryanna Harrell as senior social media manager. In her new role, Harrell will oversee the direction of all social media and influencer strategy, as well as content development for Crowe PR's hospitality and consumer goods clients. Prior to her role at Crowe PR, Harrell spent seven years working in Los Angeles in various digital marketing, branding, social media and influencer marketing roles, both in-house and on the agency side.
