NEW YORK — Edelman has named Lee Maicon its first-ever global chief innovation and strategy officer, effective April 6. Maicon will lead Edelman’s strategic network in 65 offices around the world. He will be responsible for helping define and implement innovative strategic solutions for the firm’s clients across its global network. Maicon joins Edelman from McCann, where he was most recently chief strategy officer for North America. Prior to McCann, Maicon spent eight years at 360i, where he first served as senior VP of insights and strategy before becoming the firm’s first chief strategy officer.
MIAMI — Carlos Correcha-Price will join LLYC as its new US CEO, as which he will oversee LLYC’s US business and lead its local leadership team. Correcha-Price has spent the last 15 years at Edelman, most recently serving as general manager of the firm’s Columbia and Miami operations and Latin America public affairs lead. During his tenure there he also served as senior VP of issues and international affairs.
MEXICO CITY — Javier Marin has been named LLYC’s senior director of healthcare for the Americas. Marin has more than 20 years of experience working in healthcare. His most recent position was director of communications for Latin America and Canada at Philip Morris International, based in New York City. Previously, Marin held senior roles at J&J, Merck and FleishmanHillard.
