NEW YORK — Kristen Kusterer has been appointed as executive creative director of Golin's New York market. Kusterer (pictured), who brings almost two decades of experience in copywriting, production and conceptual creative experience to the role, will be reporting to Dawn Langeland, president of Golin New York. Her focus will be consulting with clients and prospects on marketing to women and premium brands by bringing fresh ideas to their creative strategy. Kusterer was previously ECD for Edelman, leading the agency’s U.S. portfolio of TJX Companies, where she produced award-winning campaigns for various brands. She has also worked as a senior digital editor for Fitness Magazine and senior editor for Everyday Health.

NEW YORK — UpSpring has promoted Jana Montero to senior VP of culture, content and business development. Montero has worked with UpSpring for 11 years and will continue to act as the company's editor-in-chief, reviewing and editing internal and client-facing content. Previously, Labbad worked with FGS Global, where she was a partner and corporate counsel. Labbad has worked across a range of industries, including financial services, healthcare, technology, and retail. She will work to create communications strategies for clients navigating complex, high-stakes situations. In addition to her role as a senior advisor, Labbad will also serve as Invariant’s general counsel.
