WASHINGTON — Precision has hired two senior leaders — senior VP Kristin Avery and VP Julia Larson. Avery, who is part of the firm’s campaign management and mobilization team, most recently was the White House Liaison at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services where she served as an advisor to the secretary and chief of staff on personnel and operational matters. Larson, who is Precision’s new human resources director, most recently ran her own firm, Maple Grove HR Consulting.

WASHINGTON — ROKK Solutions has hired veteran congressional journalist Cristina Marcos as a senior account director. Marcos reported on Congress over the span of 11 years. She spent most of that time covering the House of Representatives for The Hill, chronicling some of the most seismic moments in modern political history.

SAN FRANCISCO — The Blueshirt Group has appointed Andrew Neff as managing director for Blueshirt’s capital markets advisory group. The Gartner and Bear Stearns veteran will split his time between the East Coast and Israel, as the firm further expands its footprint. Neff joins The Blueshirt Group from Gartner where he served as VP of research in the technology and service provider group.

DENVER — Morgan Lommele has joined Kearns & West as director in the firm’s Denver office. Lommele's return to Kearns & West comes after a 12-year hiatus working for two national non-profits. In these roles, she designed and led state and local legislative campaigns at PeopleForBikes, the bicycle industry trade association, to ensure that new and existing laws and policies benefit bike riders and funding for bike infrastructure. She also spent close to five years at the International Mountain Bicycling Association, where she led the organization’s flagship education and outreach program.
