NEW YORK — ICR has hired Lyndon Park as a managing director to lead its newly created governance advisory solutions practice. Park was formerly head of global corporate governance at Dimensional Fund Advisors and a VP for BlackRock Investment Stewardship. The new practice will focus on advising boards of directors and management teams on complex governance matters, and how to effectively engage with institutional investors to establish constructive, long-term relationships.  

CHICAGO — Current Marketing has made three new hires — Chuck Rachford as executive creative director, Janeen Davis as VP, planning, and Jennifer Symmonds as VP, human resources (pictured).  Rachford most recently helped launch Cossette Chicago as executive creative director; Davis’s experience includes tenures at Intouch Solutions, Edelman and DDB. Symmonds joins most recently from Tory Burch and Tiffany & Co.

WASHINGTON — David Fischer has joined public affairs firm IBEX as a partner.  Fischer is a lawyer and 20-year veteran of the American Chemistry Council. He will head IBEX’s regulatory and issues work.  

AUSTIN —  Swyft has hired Julia Angelen Joy as account director to lead the agency’s Denver office. With 20 years of experience in traditional and digital communications experience in numerous B2B technology sectors, Joy is tasked with growing Swyft’s presence in the Mountain West as well as providing senior leadership over the agency’s PR service offerings.

CLEVELAND — Dix & Eaton has expanded its media relations capabilities with two new staffers — Tim Dewald, a senior account executive, and Kris Fiocca, an assistant account executive. Dewald comes from the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland, where he guided and implemented social media and digital marketing initiatives. Fiocca joins after completing an internship with the firm.
