MIAMI—JeffreyGroup, which specializes in Latin American marketing and corporate communications, has named Brian Burlingame (pictured), a 15-year veteran at the firm and chief operating officer since 2005, as its new CEO. Jeffrey Sharlach, who founded the agency in 1993, will continue as chairman of JeffreyGroup and managing partner of Intercom Americas, the holding company that owns JeffreyGroup and Pinta, a multicultural advertising, marketing, and PR firm focused on the US Hispanic market.

NEW YORK—Ketchum partner Debra Forman has been promoted to president of Ketchum Digital. Previously, Forman served as director. Forman joined Ketchum in 1998, initially leading creative design, video, event production, and interactive web development services. Prior to joining Ketchum, Forman held art direction and creative management roles at a number of advertising agencies, including Chiat/Day, Bates USA, GSD&M and McCann-Erickson.

WASHINGTON, DC—Denise Hill, an assistant professor in Elon University’s school of communications and the former vice president of communications at Delhaize America, has joined APCO Worldwide’s international advisory council and its corporate communication strategies sub-group. Hill specializes in strategic communication, organizational communication, change management and community relations. She previously held vice president of communications roles at Delhaize America, Quest Diagnostics, Novartis Pharmaceuticals and Cigna.

NEW YORK—Makovsky has appointed Lee Davies, senior vice president, as director of client services, health practice. In addition to his role in the health practice, Davies is also chair of the agency’s Quality Commitment Program. Before joining Makovsky, Davies was director, global media relations and product communications at Merck & Co.

WASHINGTON, DC—Veteran producers Marcela Salazar and Ben Geldon and communications specialist Emma Shapiro have joined SKDKnickerbocker to support the firm's corporate and non-profit clients. Salazar joins SKDK as a senior vice president following 10 years in broadcast journalism at both CNN and Univision. Geldon joins as a vice president after spending nearly 15 years as a television producer, most recently at Bloomberg Television. Shapiro joins as a senior associate after serving as a communications manager at the Center for American Progress.

NEW YORK—MWW Public Relations has added Matthew Holland to the firm's New York office as senior vice president, corporate healthcare practice, counseling clients in the healthcare sector on the corporate and financial communications. Holland was most recently executive director of public health solutions at WebMD, where he worked with federal, state, and local governments on developing, disseminating, and measuring the impact of communications and education activities to both healthcare providers and consumers.

NEW YORK—Lexington Realty Trust, a real estate investment trust focused on single-tenant real estate investments, has named Claire Koeneman, executive vice president and head of the US central region at Hill+Knowlton Strategies, to its board of trustees. Koeneman has more than 20 years of experience in corporate and financial communications, including her role as president of Financial Relations Board.
