NEW YORK — Method Communications has appointed Martin Harkin as senior VP, global head of business development. Harkin (pictured) will lead tech clients from his home base in New York City and coordinate new global business development opportunities between US-based Method and its sibling agencies under the VCCP Business umbrella: Harvard, in London, and Sling & Stone, which is based in Sydney. Harkin most recently was practice head for technology and E-commerce at Red Havas, spending eight years at the company across its New York, Sydney and London offices.

MEMPHIS, TN — Eastport Holdings has switched up its leadership team with executive moves including naming Kevin Meany, CEO of 9Rooftops, managing partner and COO. Meany, who will retain his 9Rooftops position, will work directly with CEO Matt Wilson to oversee business operations across Eastport. In addition, Katie McGrath, who led human resources at g2o, has been appointed Eastport’s first chief people officer as which she will lead the design and execution of Eastport’s human resources strategy. Meantime, Peter Twombly, who has held senior-level roles with Havas, Omnicom, and IPG, has joined Eastport as chief growth officer and will report to Matt Wilson. Twombly will drive growth across the network by partnering closely with Eastport's agencies.

NEW YORK — Imre has hired two industry veterans — Kristine Wobschall as VP of client experience and Sonal Adhav as senior director of medical affairs. Wobschall is tasked with client relationship management and overall business portfolio health. Previously Wobschall served as VP, management supervisor at H4B Chelsea, leading strategy, campaign development and launches for AOR relationships with leading brands in the rare disease, HIV, oncology and women’s health therapeutic areas. Adhav will be tasked with shaping agency best practices in client experience and medical strategy as she has recently served in a medcomms leadership role at Fishawack Health.

FAIRFIELD, CT — 90TEN, part of Envision Pharma Group, has hired industry veteran and previous consultant Joy Brownstein as part of its expanding growth plans in the US market. Brownstein will report to Kate Paxton, US head, 90TEN, and will continue to be a key leader of current client business. Brownstein will also work with Paxton on the continued growth of 90TEN’s US operation, leveraging the existing rich resources within Envision Pharma Group for US client needs and showcasing 90TEN’s culture and approach. Brownstein has more than 30 years of experience in healthcare marketing and communications, working at agencies such as BCW, Syneos Health, and Ketchum.
