LONDON — Behavioural science communications specialist Lynn has bolstered its senior leadership team, with the appointment of Alice Cadwgan as director of campaigns and operations.

It is Cadwgan’s first PR role since 2019, when she left her role as managing partner at Ogilvy in London to study for an MSc in organisational psychology and then work as an academic tutor and with the NHS.

Cadwgan first joined Ogilvy as head of operations in 2012 and rose to EMEA marketing and development director, before stints at brand experience agency Imagination and luxury lifestyle management service Quintessentially. She returned to Ogilvy in 2018.

In her new role at Lynn – which recently rebranded and added new health, climate change and business transformation practices, as well as signalling its ambitions to expand internationally – Cadwgan has been tasked with strengthening the offering and services around organisational transformation, as well as focusing on the agency’s culture and operations.

Cadwgan told PRovoke Media: “Taking a break was the best career decision I ever made. I’m obsessed with communications – my heartland Is change and transformation, helping business, organisations, groups and communities feel and work better together – and the last three years have given me a refreshed lens on how to operate an organisation and how to deliver, craft and support communications. Lynn is doing evidence-based things that other businesses say they do but don’t follow through on, and I want to help protect that intellectual rigour, deliberate action and integrity.”

She added: “Lynn was an idea, then an organisation and now a movement. I couldn’t be more excited to be joining Lynn at this time, a consultancy that is demonstrably cutting through the noise of generic communication and making evident impact for its clients and society more widely.”

Cadwgan will work to CEO and founder Shayoni Lynn, who said: “As we continue to grow Lynn’s footprint and look to international expansion, I am delighted to bring Alice on board to support the development of Lynn’s people, culture and operations so we may continue to flourish at a world class level. As part of our growing expert capability in behavioural science, insight driven communications and organisational transformation I am excited for the opportunities Alice brings to our clients and team.”
