NEW YORK —Zepp Health has hired Finn Partners to lead global marketing communications for its smart wearables brand Amazfit.

Finn Partners won the business following a competitive pitch. The firm’s remit includes media and influencer relations, creating and executing creative campaigns, content development and crisis comms. The agency’s larger task includes driving awareness of Amazfit’s wearable fitness trackers and smart watches.

Finn Partners’ Shanghai office will lead the account.

Amazfit’s partnership with Finn comes on the heels of rebrand this fall that includes collaborations with fashion designers. In the third quarter of this year, Amazfit overtook Huawei as the world’s  third largest smartwatch manufacturer.
