SUMMIT, NJ — Ame Wadler has stepped down from her role leading Zeno’s global healthcare business to start her own consultancy, Strategic Momentum.

Wadler launched the firm this week with the goal of helping organizations shape communications strategies that meet the challenges of today’s environment.

Doing that requires being “more mindful of where trust is, and isn’t, and how people react to what they expect from business leaders, which is different than even a year ago,” she said.

Wadler has launched her new venture after nearly a dozen years as a Zeno managing director, as which she led healthcare strategies and client relationships. Earlier in her three-decade career, she held senior leadership roles at Burson-Marsteller and Edelman.

Zeno is starting a search for a new global head of health, the firm said in a statement.

“We are grateful for Ame’s many contributions to health and Zeno overall during these last ten years. Today, health is one of our top three global sectors with a strong base of business across the full healthcare spectrum, touching every region of our Zeno network,” the agency said. “We wish Ame all the best as she applies her considerable talents to what’s next.”
