NEW YORK — Former Hotwire chief development officer Andy West has joined Rally Point Public Relations as a senior advisor focused on agency growth.

West will work with the Rally Point management team to further expansion of the agency. The firm has grown into a $2 million, 15-person operation since former broadcast journalists John Cook and Dorian Langlais launched it in 2014.  Rally Point specializes in sectors including financial services and fintech, crypto/digital assets and lifestyle tech.

After leaving his global role at Hotwire in June, West launched his own advisory firm, Westofcenter, and is working with a number of agencies on helping them to scale. In August, he joined new technology communications and branding agency Made By Giants as its growth and innovation advisor.

“We are so pleased to work with Andy as we embark on another set of aggressive growth plans at Rally Point,” Cook said. “Not only does he bring a wealth of experience from his years as an agency executive, but he is a great mentor and advocate. He’s also a fantastic person and a wonderful addition to the Rally Point family.”

Said West, “I see Rally Point on the cusp of a big future, transitioning from a consultancy to a full-fledged firm, with long-term retainer clients, and a talented team distributed across the US. I look forward to helping shape the next period of growth.”
