HONG KONG — Ashbury has added new clients and staff as it continues to grow its financial sector-focused offering in Hong Kong.

The firm has added three significant clients in recent months: independent investment bank Houlihan Lokey, payments tech firm Episode Six, and financial software company Eventus Systems.

In addition, Ashbury has hired Ellin Choy joins as an associate director in the firm's advisory team, where she will work with director of advisory Noel Cheung. Choy was previously the programme lead for Accenture’s fintech innovation lab in Asia-Pacific.

Also joining as associate director and senior writer/editor is Jason Wincuinas, who will work alongside director of content Steve Garton. Wincuinas joins from Economist Impact, previously known as the Economist Intelligence Unit, where he had been a senior editor since 2018, after previously working as managing editor at Campaign Asia-Pacific.

Ashbury's client base focuses on the financial sector, with specific expertise in ESG and fintech, along with a vision to integrate content creation and strategy with corporate communications.

To mark its second anniversary, Ashbury has also donated a total of HK$50,000 to two Hong Kong-based charities: ImpactHK and the Hong Kong Cancer Fund.
