SINGAPORE—MSLGroup has appointed Wendy Loh (pictured) as director of the corporate practice in Singapore. Loh, a 14-year corporate communications veteran who was most recently a vice president at Weber Shandwick in Singapore, has held both in-house roles and agency positions and has experience in corporate reputation management, internal communications, CSR, issues and crisis management and stakeholder outreach.

HONG KONG—Grayling has promoted Neelesh Hotwani to director and head of office in Hong Kong. He was previously associate director and was lead counsel on the company’s portfolio of regional accounts and in his new role is responsible for managing and developing Grayling’s business in Hong Kong, reporting to Huntsworth Asia-Pacific chief executive Chris Tang. In addition, Holly Axelrad has joined as associate director from London, to lead the Hong Kong consumer practice.

SYDNEY—LG Electronics Australia has appointed Nick Ellery as its new head of digital. He will create and execute digital strategy for LG Australia, including SEO, SEM, website strategies, digital media buys, ecommerce, social media, CRM and more and will work closely with agencies VML and Hill+Knowlton Strategies. Ellery joins LG Australia after spending two years at Pharmacare, where he devised and implemented the organisation’s overall digital strategy and its stable of brands. 

HONG KONG—FiftyThree, a maker of mobile tools, has appointed The Hoffman Agency as its public relations agency of record in Asia covering China, Hong Kong and Japan, following a five-way competitive pitch. To support FiftyThree’s entry into Asia and unveil its flagship product Pencil, thefirm has executed an Asia-wide campaign aiming to establish FiftyThree’s brand positioning.

SHANGHAI—Shanghai Municipality has appointed RTG Consulting to develop an international branding campaign for Shanghai City. The campaign will assist the government in enhancing the city's global soft power influence and cultural value.

KUALA LUMPUR—Katie O’Callaghan has been appointed as regional talent director for Asia Pacific at marketing agency Geometry Global. Based in Kuala Lumpur, she will lead the focus on recruitment, talent management and employee development. Most recently, O’Callaghan was responsible for creating and leading the HR function at UK digital, broadcasting and publishing group ESI Media.

NEW DELHI—Aman Gupta, managing director of public relations firm SPAG Asia, has launched D Yellow Elephant, a full service digital agency with a focus on the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry. The new firm has three offices and approximately 20 staffers across the United States, Europe and Asia.
