HONG KONG — Sinclair has launched a third location in Greater China, expanding its reach to a wide range of clients. Located in Beijing’s Chaoyang District, the new hub brings Sinclair’s established teams in Hong Kong and Shanghai closer to the heart of Mainland China. Sinclair has also announced senior team appointments across the region. They include:  Carbo Yu being promoted to director, head of business development in Hong Kong;  Rosanna Herries being promoted to director, head of Sinclair arts; Sara Chen being appointed director, head of business development based in Shanghai; and Gaby Li joining Sinclair as associate director based in Beijing.

SYDNEY — The 6AM Agency has appointed Chiquita King partner and CEO of the agency. King (pictured), currently managing partner at DDB Sydney, has two decades of outstanding agency experience building and leading integrated teams across data, strategy, digital, creative, production and client service. Her experience spans a number of categories and includes brands like Nike, eBay, Ikea, Optus, and Westpac to name a few.

NEW DELHI —  Arpana Kumar Ahuja has joined Shell India as country lead for communications and programmes. Ahuja was previously executive VP of strategy and market development at Weber Shandwick India, which she joined in 2017 after 14 years with PR Pundit. At Shell, Ahuja reports to external relations country head Sukanya Ghosh.

MUMBAI —The biotechnology company Shire has appointed First Partners as its public relations consultant for India. First Partners’ PR mandate includes supporting corporate and brand communication initiatives across all Shire offerings in India.  Shire is focused on serving people affected by rare diseases and highly specialised conditions.
