SINGAPORE—Dan Benelisha (pictured) has joined the Singapore office of Porter Novelli as senior vice president and managing director. In addition to leading the office, growing and retaining talent, Benelisha will serve as the regional lead for one of Porter Novelli's largest clients. He reports to Angie Schneider, president, Asia Pacific. Benelisha joins Porter Novelli from Groupon, where he served as head of communications for the APAC Tiger region. Prior to that, he spent seven years with Waggener Edstrom, most recently as vice president.
DELHI—Genesis Burson-Marsteller has named Ajit Sahi as director, public affairs; Sanjay Arora as practice chair, corporate and financial; Piyal Banerjee as managing partner, telecom and technology (consumer); Shivaram Lakshminarayan as managing partner, telecom and technology (B2B) and corporate and financial (South). Nikhil Dey’s role has expanded as president, public relations and public affairs and Atul Sharma is promoted as chief operating officer.
HONG KONG—Following a competitive pitch, independent PR agency Sinclair Communications has been re-appointed as agency partner for Singapore Tourism Board on a retainer basis. Sinclair will continue to champion the YourSingapore brand and will be responsible for STB’s public relations and social media activation for the Hong Kong and Macau markets. The account will continue to be led by associate director kevin lam and account manager Candice Leung.
